Ready, Set, Go: Indoor Track Is Off to a Great Season
The indoor track team is ready to have a strong season. They are fighting for their spot in districts, regions, and states!
Coach McGreal says she is “most excited about seeing our new kids develop into great competitors.” There is a big mix of new and old runners! They are working hard and getting better. Tyler Gray says their biggest strength is “The XC runners who have been running all Summer and for years in a row.” They have a lot of new and returning runners that put their all into this sport. That is what makes this team such a strong team.
Jill Crunkilton is most excited to see “the joy on their faces once their hard work has paid off”. They are seeing the hard work pay off even this early in the season. Hayden Goodman at the meet last weekend won the state title in the 3200. Jaiden Lockhart won the regionals title also for the 3200!
It will be fun to see this track team keep getting better and more runners going to state and regionals! They have a meet this Tuesday the 8th of December at home so come support your track team!
