As high school students we often get homework very regularly. Even though in middle school you rarely got homework then, now is a different story. Things can get stressful especially when you’re doing sports or after school activities and can’t get home until later times in the day.
That is why most people use their advisory time to do makeup things or do their homework or missing assignments. But not all people do that, maybe they’ve had a long day after their three-hour practice and couldn’t get to their homework in time.

The cons of homework are way more controversial, too much homework can negatively impact students and their mental health. Students spend too much time on homework every day, or every other day. It can drain your mental state and make you feel stressed.
Many students think it takes up too much time in our day, because of the after-school sports and our activities that we partake in, and mostly the only time you have to go out and have fun is the weekends. Homework improves memory and students continue to remember the topic in class, which is a benefit.
