Taylor Swift dropped her new album “Midnights” this past month, and fans are overjoyed. This is her tenth studio album with 13 different tracks. “Midnights” has taken the top ten spots of the Billboard Hot 100, for the first time in history. Leading the charts, “Anti-Hero” is the number-one song with over 60 million streams. The New York Times states this album is about “the realizations and reckonings of many millennial women around relationships, motherhood and ambition” This is a good listen if you enjoy a “subdued and amorphous pop sound” 

Arctic Monkeys also released “The Car”, their seventh studio album. This album is alternative, R&B, and has a very orchestral sound. There are themes of “love, longing, and doubt” and it includes elements of jazz. Arctic Monkeys’ first single, “There’d Better Be A Mirrorball”, has over eight million views on YouTube. If you want to listen to something that feels like walking on a cloud, this is for you.
