Mental health is important for so many reasons from school, home, and work life. Woodbridge high has multiple school counselors and specialists for students and staff to talk to. Dr. Susie the school psychologist who says, “if you are having anxiety or struggling with something it can impact your focus and every aspect of your life” How you feel, think and act can change depending on your mental state.  

Almost 1 out of 7 teens struggle with mental health. Do not struggle alone talk to a trusted adult. Mrs. Susie tries to provide as much support as possible and encourages students to come and talk to her or someone you trust. Dr. Susie says “do not isolate yourself or hide in the bathroom”. If you are anxious or stressed, try breathing exercises, go for a walk or read your favorite book. Make sure to make time for yourself and take care of your mental health just as much as your physical health.
