The 2022-2023 school year is coming to an end! After almost 10 months of nonstop work and very little breaks, we all deserve this upcoming summer to be a fun one

As we all try to finish off the year strong, a lot of us have had different experiences being in different grades. While we have all worked hard, sometimes the number of years being here can impact how eager people can be to have a break or even to be leaving the school for good.

The Freshman had a good first year of high school but are ready for a break! Marleigh Wilson says, “I’m  excited to hang out with my friends instead of doing schoolwork.” Sophomore Valeria Ayala-Torres says, “the year went by too fast.” And although she is excited for summer, she also isn’t ready to be a Junior.

However, the Juniors and Seniors are counting down the days to their exit.  Junior Izzy Eaton says the school year was stressful. “I have been looking forward to summer since school started.” After a challenging year, she is excited to have a break and is hoping to start her final year off strong, while Senior Laura Argueta simply says, “I’m glad to be a Senior and leave.

Regardless of what grade you are in or how difficult it may have been to get through that grade, it’s almost time to unwind and enjoy your time off!
