Wintertime can be tricky. The cold weather can make us feel sluggish, gross, and unmotivated. We may be losing our energy, and we are not doing enough. This can lead to anxiety and stress. However, there are ways to combat these feelings.

One way is to stay active. Even though it may be hard to get out of bed, going outside for fresh air and sunshine can be beneficial. Joining a sports team or exercising with friends can keep us accountable and make it more enjoyable.

Another way to feel better during the winter is by watching what we eat. Eating junk food can sometimes make people feel slow and sluggish feel gross, which can make us feel unmotivated. Instead, we can incorporate more vegetables and healthy options into our diet. Starting small, like having one vegetable with a meal, can make a substantial difference.

Finally, having a morning routine can set us up for success. Planning an outfit the night before can make getting ready in the morning more manageable and enjoyable. Additionally, having a healthy breakfast can give us the energy to start the day.

Remember, winter can be brutal, but we can make it through by staying active, eating healthy, and having a morning routine!
