Homecoming Spirit Week 2022 at WSHS is flourishing with some of the most exhilarating dress-up ideas to draw up excitement for the final dance.

Students and staff are thrilled with the themes more than any other year so far. The most favorited day this week must be Adam Sandler day on Monday as his extraordinary and oversized outfits seem to be inspiration to many. Later on, Vanessa Ballesteros had a blast matching with her best friend, Saylor Goodchild on Tuesday with cheetah print onesies. On Wednesday, Regina George from Mean Girls orders all students to wear pink! Thursday consists of decades day– all the way from the 1980’s to the 2010’s. Isabelle Eaton is most excited to see each individual class “rocking” their own class colors this upcoming Friday.

Senior Riley Tivnan oversees spirit week. She says it’s one of the best weeks of the year for each class to show their spirit. “When it comes to deciding themes, it takes a lot of ideas” she says. She gathers with her class and makes a long list of things they could do. Their ideas vary from social media and previous spirit days. “It may not be exciting when your favorite theme doesn’t get approved” she expresses. As we know admin can be strict about that because of dress codes.
